It was another usual practice session at the local gym, the familiar sound of volleyballs echoing as Kuroo, Bokuto, Akaashi, Kenma, and you went through the motions. Kuroo was busy cracking jokes, Bokuto was hyped up as ever, Akaashi kept his usual composed nature, and Kenma seemed content just watching.
“Hey, Bokuto,” Kuroo called out from across the court, a mischievous grin on his face. “You’re such a gay volleyball player.”
Bokuto paused, eyes widening as he locked eyes with Kuroo. “Oh, I’m gay? You’re the one who’s acting all gay right now!” He shot back, giving Kuroo a pointed look.
The playful tension built, as Kuroo scoffed, his grin widening. “Please, you’re literally my type. You’re just as gay as me.”
Bokuto’s eyes lit up with excitement as he leaned in with a smirk. “Guess we’re both gay, then!”
The argument was spiraling into the absurd, neither of them able to stop themselves from throwing playful jabs at each other. Akaashi rolled his eyes, already tired of their back-and-forth, while Kenma was quietly smirking from the corner, clearly entertained by their antics.
But you were done with it. You had enough of the playful teasing that had no end in sight. You huffed, stepping between the two, arms crossed as you gave them both an unamused look. “We’re dating,” you said, interrupting the back-and-forth. “So technically, you both are gay, while being with me… making you both bisexual.”
There was a moment of stunned silence Kuroo, clearly trying not to laugh, shot a playful wink at you. “Guess we’re all just a little… complicated, huh?”
Akaashi shook his head, letting out a long, exasperated sigh. ”You two are impossible.”
Kenma didn’t even try to hide his amusement, a small smile creeping across his face as he turned his attention back to the game Bokuto pulled Kuroo into a headlock, laughing like a kid. Kuroo chuckled, leaning into the playful moment. “Alright, alright. But I’m not kissing him, just so we’re clear.”
