07 - Akutagawa

It wasn't like he was hurt. No, seriously, he was just fine.

Dazai's escape didn't bother him. No, totally not. He had just been his mentor, it was no big deal. It wasn't like Akutagawa seeked his approval, anyways.

So, why did he sit on the floor at this ungodly hour, crying?

And it wasn't just soft, light crying either. The crying was more of an equivalent to actual mourning someone's death, even though Dazai was perfectly healthy.

The whole situation felt.. wrong. He had never had a shoulder to cry on, and yet, Dazai had been somewhat of a father figure to him.

He had been the man who'd raised Akutagawa, after all.

It hurt, it hurt alot. Even tho he hated to admit that. Now, it was only himself, on his own. Akutagawa just felt like he wasn't ready to be on his own yet.

As he heard footsteps approaching his room, he quickly wiped his tears to the best of his possibilities.

The person knocked on his door. Oh, it was probably the food he had ordered from the cafeteria.

    "Come in." Akutagawa stated reluctantly.
