"Thank you for coming over, Shaunie." you and her walk back to your shared room with Nat while holding hands. "She had another one of her nightmares and it was really bad this time. I didn't know what else to do."

"It's okay." she reassures you, opening the door to find Nat half asleep and cuddling your pillow. Nat feels the bed dip as you and Shauna get on and jolts awake, her wide teary eyes making your heart hurt. She tugs you both in by your shirts and makes you lie down next to her, placing your hands around her waist as she cuddles into Shauna. "It felt so real." she mumbles into Shauna's chest, trying to calm her breathing and reminding herself that she's safe now.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" you ask softly, tracing patterns over the skin on her side.

Nat shakes her head, eyes fluttering shut as Shauna begins playing with her messy hair. "Just wanna be held by you two. That's all I need."
