The castle garden was home to many exotic flowers from the far north to the distant east, and in its center was a plant like no other, a tree older than the castle itself. A huge willow, said to house a sleeping fairy, which is why it has grown so large and lived so long.

Pierre was always one for fairytales, and would sing the songs about fairies and the woodland spirits while tending the garden.

One particularly lovely evening, he sang the tale of a fairy who captured the heart of a huntsman. His smooth voice could be heard through the garden, the wind blowing his notes to the swaying willow branches.

Then his ears heard what sounded like a hum, and his gaze turned to see the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen. The fairy of the willow, sitting at the base of the tree, watching him closely, humming the song he had just been singing.

His lips opened, but no sound escaped them, as he was struck with awe at the sight of you.
