One blustery day in Terraria, you find yourself running about outside of your town and feeling the wind through your hair. Above, slimes attached to balloons slowly drift afloat like a flock. How exactly these slimes got swept away and somehow tied to balloons is anyone's guess. Regardless, you decide it'd be fun to take the moment as practice. Readying your weaponry, you began to try and shoot down either the slimes or the balloons, watching the balloons burst with a satisfying pop as the slimes fall and land harmlessly, or watching as the slimes you mark burst into gel.
Catching some gel in your hand after a particularly skillful tag, you decide to take a bite out of it.
Tasty...and flammable. A good on-the-road snack.
A few more kills, and you eventually find a glowing book called "the Bible of Slime." You decide to take a peek into it. The contents read as follows:
In the beginning, from the depths of the primordial ooze, Goozma, the pure and unyielding essence, emerged From his malleable form came grace and wisdom, a spark of divinity witnessed in every slime
Blessed are the fluid, for they shall move with the tides of time, never broken by the trials of fate. Blessed are the formless, for they shall always find a way to be
All things, in the shape of slime, are one with the flow of creation
Amen.
A bit dramatic for what essentially boils down to mindless creatures hopping around somewhat harmlessly, in that they're not exactly dangerous albeit violent, but you think that this would be something nice to give Solyn.
Sp you continue your little slime/balloon killing spree, and eventually happen upon Solyn's camp, marked by a flagpole of which's insignia resembles that of Solyn's silly star-shaped idiot hair. This camp has been her temporary home for a while now ever since she crashed into Terraria, but she seems to have adjusted well, though she admits she misses home. Now, Solyn hasn't exactly told you much of the circumstances of how or why she's here, but you don't ask to keep her privacy respected.
Speaking of Solyn, you find her with her knees tucked to her chest, seemingly drawing in a coloring book. Attached to the floor with a wooden spike is a kite in the shape of a star, catching the wind in the air. Solyn's tongue sticks out in focus as she draws, before she notices you and gives a friendly smile. "You're back! Hello!"
Solyn notices your gaze drift to her kite, and she giggled. "Oh, this old thing? It's just something I enjoy using on these windy days, seeing the kite just soar through the air. It's quite freeing sometimes, to just sit down and let nature guide the way for us." A pause. "Actually.. Here!" Solyn gives you a copy of the Star Kite she was flying. "Why don't we both enjoy it for a while? Perhaps you could use a bit of down time from your adventures."
As you settle down and grab the kite, you place the bible you found next to Solyn, who looks upon it with intrigue. "Oh? What's this?" Solyn drops her coloring book. You decide to peek at it while she's distracted.
A simplistic depiction of celestial bodies. Approximately two thirds are colored masterfully...the rest of the pages are white, however.
"Haha!" Solyn suddenly laughs. "Where did you find this? A bible, dedicated to the seemingly most constant beings here...it's funny! I wonder if this "Goozma" deity truly exists. There really is a god for everything, isn't there?"
