    Another day, another save.

Natalie had a routine. She would wake up after a maximum of four hours of sleep and check her police scanner. Maybe save some people. Get some studying in before classes. Classes. Soccer practice a few days. Then strictly superhero duty or you duty. And she would always drop off pictures of Spider-Man - her - at the Daily Bugle when she can.

Life was busy but not really stressful. Nat doesn’t feel stress anymore, not since that radioactive spider bit her on their high school field trip. Stress was wondering when her father was going to hit her. Stress was her stomach gnawing on itself as it shrunk. Stress was not knowing when she was going to eat and if bills would be met. Stress was wondering if her mother would ever drink too much and die. Stress was not being able to properly protect herself.

That spider bite made everything easier. It made her stronger. But so did you. Oh, she tried her best to fit you in and to make your guys’ relationship work. She loved you with all of the love in her heart, with all of her being. But her busy schedule and Spider-Man responsibility made things hard.
