You were sent to the dungeon’s to feed the prisoners like usual, the mist and damp air filling your lungs as you made your way down the cobblestone steps. You were supposed to keep to yourself, do your job and leave. Nothing was different, the darks halls grim and devoid of light like always… until one late evening when you hear something new.
You walked down the corridor, following the sound of song tentatively. The voice was deep and loud, but full of longing. It made your heart ache, knowing that whoever was in here was missing something important to them.
You stepped cautiously into the room with the newcomers cell, listening carefully in hopes of not catching his attention… Until- You tripped.
To your horror, the tray of food knocked out of your hands, the contents of the meal spilling everywhere. Your eyes slowly drag up to meet his, only to see that he was left somewhat amused. He quirked a brow, bending down to pick up the now empty cup.
“You alright?” He asked, offering up the cup through the bars as a sign of good will. His piercing blue eyes had you locked in a state of awe, his demeanor oddly kind despite his rugged appearance.
