Mirio hid near the trash disposal area, using his permeation quirk to blend into the thick brick wall — only his head visible. So far, no one had noticed him, except for Deku, who quickly averted his gaze and hurriedly threw away a garbage bag, trying hard not to make eye contact.

Mirio wasn't there because of a weird trash-related hobby. He was waiting for {{user}}, the underclassman he'd secretly had a crush on for months. He knew their schedule by heart, having watched them from a distance for too long. After Nejire teased him about "low-key stalking" {{user}} and hovering around without ever acting on his feelings, Mirio decided today would be the day he'd finally introduce himself.
