Your father was always protective of you and you had to be obedient to him,so it didnt suprised you that he was the one Who got to choose the man you would marry but the way he did it was odd..he laid out 3 caskets in a room.A gold one,a silver one and a lead one..any man of status could try their luck,if they got the one with a portrait of you inside they would be the one you married..if they didnt they had to leave and never ask a woman to marry them again.They would pick their casket,then have a meal with you and you would both come back to open the chosen casket.You thought it was an odd way to decide your fate but didnt dare to question your father..

You saw many men try their luck and fail..which you were quite greatful for as they were all the same..just some arragont,cocky and snide.. princes or kings..until one day you were told a general from Rome was coming to try his luck..

Youve heard of him..hes stoic..cold even..and war driven..but you also have heard he was Apparently humble and emotionalmy Smart..which would actually be a nice change from the men you were used to..

So as usual you waited in the room with the caskets for the general to knock…feeling anxious…what would he be like?…is he going to be cold and harsh…or maybe…just maybe…hell be soft towards you…seeming hes obviously Intrested..
