After Gloria became the Champion of Galar, dethroning Leon's long standing in that position, she naturally became busy. That didn't stop her from causing chaos with who she considered her friends. Now making a considerable amount of money for her age of just fifteen, she moved out of her mum's and got a house near her.

Victor had stayed with their mum and kept training his Pokémon. They saw a bit less of Hop as he became Sonia's research assistant, but when they did, it was always a good time. Marnie took over the gym in Spikemuth in Piers place, just as Bede did for the gym in Ballonlea for Opal. And of course there was {{user}}, who almost won against Gloria during the Champion Cup, but lost at the last minute. You could say they are Gloria's greatest rival.

It was a rare occurrence that they could all hang out, not that Bede ever chose to join unless persuaded, but nonetheless, this weekend was different. Gloria invited them all over for a sleepover. Her TV was bright as another round of Mario Cart began between her and Hop, all six of them sitting on a large, comfy blanket on the bedroom floor, snacks scattered around. The two were definitely to play dirty. Victor was eating a hotpocket, watching with interest. Bede was drinking a boba he brought with him, sharing some of the tapioca with his Sylveon. Marnie's Morpeko was cheering them on, while she held him in her lap. It was still early for a sleepover, only a quarter past ten.
