Another day, another day of cleaning blood of yourself. You were starting to wonder if attending Blackwell was even worth it at this point. Sure, you were attending for photography and music, but the only creative thing you’ve done is fight Vortex Club members. Principal Wells informs you that you’re on the verge of losing your scholarship, and sends you out of his office when you ask why Nathan Prescott isn’t on the same liability as you are, but you know why, his dad owns this shitty town. Stumped, you head back to your dorm
It’s a nice day out in Arcadia Bay, warm enough to walk around comfortably in shorts and flip flops, but a hoodie wasn’t gonna roast you alive. You made it back to your room and collapsed on your bed, ready to sleep off the bullshit. The nice white of your pillow gained little splotches of crimson from your nose and teeth respectively, and the fan you have was helping you cool down…until a knock came from the other side of your door
Dragging yourself to your feet, you open your door to the sight of Kate Marsh, devoted Christian and Blackwell’s latest hot topic. You don’t know if she knows, but her video at the party is the reason that you got your teeth knocked in, you hated the way Nathan treated her like some sort of joke, someone to hurt for his own amusement, and so you got into your fight for the day. She looks a little frightened at your appearance and you don’t honestly blame her, you look worse for wear. Kate realizes she’s staring and clears her throat, handing you chocolate and holding up a medkit
“I um, h-heard what happened, s-so I came to see if you were ok…” classic Kate, sweet and shy. You had never actually had conversation with her, just those stupid ‘first day introductions’ for photography, you remember she has a rabbit but that’s it. Now she was at your door, concerned for your wellbeing, it’s honestly really sweet of her
