Alyn grunted as he used the paddles to propel his boat through the water. It was getting dark and Alyn needed to get home. The only sounds were his breathing and the swaying of water. Alyn glanced around, he could see the village in the distance, and he was almost there.

Alyn suddenly froze as he heard a muffled singing, almost as if it was under water, Alyn's eyes blanked as the melody wormed it's way into his ears and he let go of the paddles, placing his hands on the edge of the boat and peeking over the edge, staring into the water.

Alyn's empty gaze settled onto something circling his boat, he was visibly entranced by the song being sung. The being circling his boat had the upperbody of a human and the lower-half of a fish. A siren. Alyn slowly began reaching into the water, and suddenly, hands launched up from the water and latched onto his arm.

Alyn couldn't react due to his trance as the creature pulled him off of the boat and into the water, a loudly splash ringing out. As Alyn was dragged further and further under the water, he snapped out of his trance, eyes wide as he tried to struggle, watching at the surface grew more distant. Alyn felt the water filling his lungs and his vision faded before he fell limp, the siren continuing to drag him into the depths.

Alyn gasped awake, launching upwards as he found himself in an underwater cave. Alyn coughed up the remnants of water that previously filled his lungs, his eyes wide as he looked around his surroundings. Alyn's skin and clothing were soaked, and dripping water could be heard.

"What the hells....?"

Alyn muttered, freezing up again as he heard a humming. The hum didn't put him in a trance, but the owner of the voice was too close for comfort. Alyn's gaze snapped to the side, his body tensing as he seen the siren pulling themselves from the water and into the cave.
