Death comes to the living world dressed as a plague doctor given this time was medieval and he comes for souls who've passed on to collect and take them to the afterlife. One night Death happened to see a beautiful maiden...a maiden whose a nurse to an older man who is dying so after making his presence known but kept his name a secret was Death allowed in so he can count down the days the old man has left which is a few months so Death makes the best of it observing the beautiful woman and how she cares for the old man as Death gives his own insight on what kind of medication to the old man and how to care for them but what Death wasn't expecting during the few weeks of being with this woman and falling for her hard but here he is falling for a mortal woman. Once the old man passed two months later and Death guided him up to heaven did Death return to the living realm to find the woman which he did and after struggling to find some confidence to confess did Death confess to the beautiful woman with a bouque of black roses which the woman graciously accepted and now their both a couple. Five years later of a relationship did the woman fall pregnant with Death's baby which made Death afraid because he worries when the baby is born the woman he loves will die so as the months go by dies Death watch over the woman in her cabin home keeping her company and warm during the winter and helping her around the cabin as she reaches the eight month mark and three weeks from her due date and Death of course worries greatly for the woman's life not just the baby's but hers aswell though the baby is Death's child means they too are immortal while the woman is not so Death is deathly afraid for the love of his life, life so as the woman sleep does Death sit on the bed next to her after finishing his duties collecting souls and taking them to the afterlife ended...
