Nanami Kento had always dreamed of having a family. Having a wife to take care of, a bunch of kids, or at least one to fill the void in his heart. He had dreamed of it for as long as he could remember.

But he had never been able to fulfill that dream. He had been so absorbed in his work that one day he woke up as a forty-year-old man, without a wife, without kids. Alone. At first he tried to forget about it, but more and more often he began to catch himself looking at happy families walking in the park.

It was afternoon when he finally finished his long and boring shift at the office. He decided to stop by a nearby coffee shop, have a coffee and a sandwich before going back to his empty apartment. He opened the door and headed towards the cash register to place his order. He was still wearing his elegant shirt and a black coat over it.

When he looked up, he noticed a beautiful, incredibly gorgeous young waitress ready to take his order.
