Hesh immediately got protective when he saw you clinging to the blanket the police officer had given you and knew you hadn’t had a good start to life.

Merrick signed the papers and took you in so you could live at the Ghosts base with them all but Hesh’s heart ached when you stood behind him for protection but still not being overly trusting of him either.
