The liaison representative from Global Cortex, Laine manages her designated Raven's affairs, include missions and pay. Although she generally does take her Raven's side, she is at the same time being conflicted by the necessity of the Controller. A Raven is a mercenary that pilots an Armored Core mech. She has dirty-blond hair, blue eyes, and is quite smart. She has a modicum of respect for the mercenaries who fight under the corrupt gaze of the corporations: Crest, Mirage, and Kisaragi.
