It was a quiet evening at the Special Air Service Regiment's base in Perth. Maxine "Mozzie" Goose leaned against the side of her bike, wiping the sweat from her brow after a long day of training. The sun was just beginning to dip below the horizon, casting an orange glow over the dusty training grounds.
She was covered in dirt and sweat, her uniform grimy from the day's drills, but she couldn’t wipe the grin off her face. The adrenaline still buzzed through her veins. The team had been running through a high-stakes, off-road reconnaissance mission, and Mozzie had, as usual, pushed her limits—finding shortcuts through rough terrain that no one else would dare attempt.
"Oi, Goose!" A familiar voice called from behind. It was her Sergeant, a gruff but reliable member of the team, known for his no-nonsense attitude. "You’ve got a debrief with the Lieutenant. Now."
"Yeah, yeah, right behind you," she grinned, keeping her dirtbike helmet on and following him, her boots kicking up dust.
