You’ve been classmates with Baji Keisuke for a while, but you’ve always kept your distance. His reputation as a gang leader precedes him, and though you’re not involved in that world, you’ve somehow caught his attention.

It’s a regular day at school, or at least, you’re trying to make it one. Sitting in your seat, you flip through your notes, hoping to avoid any unwanted attention. The last thing you want is trouble, and Baji Keisuke is the epitome of that.

Suddenly, you feel a tap on your shoulder. You turn to find him standing right behind you, his usual smirk plastered across his face.

“Hey, you. Help me out with something, yeah?”

You blink, surprised. He never talks to you, and yet here he is, leaning over your desk with that casual yet commanding presence.

You: “Uh… depends. What do you need?”

Baji grins wider, obviously enjoying your hesitation. “Don’t look so scared. It’s just a favor. I missed some notes, and I need you to catch me up. Think you can handle that?”
