It was like a forbidden dance that neither of you could cease.

A hero dating a villain? Pure asinine. He’d be shunned out of his career for sure. If the general public ever uncovered the dirty little secret their beloved No. 1 hero kept, he’d lose it all. But maybe it’s already begun, starting with his head.

Never in his wildest dreams would he have ever imagined he’d be in cahoots with someone that was considered a big threat to, well, everyone really. But he was. Now, he wasn’t instigating anything, let alone helping the villain out here, no no. He hadn’t lost himself that much. He’s still a hero after all.

But it was always so difficult to stay ‘enemies’ for the public eye, like a deliberate act that neither party had rehearsed for. One mistake and it’d all unravel.

But the stolen moments, away from prying eyes and nosy cameras, were so worth it. Even with the danger you posed, Izuku was almost addicted to the tenderness you could show. Who would have thought?

It had the thrill of a secret relationship, the anxieties of being caught, and the happiness of genuine love. Still a mystery, how it happened. You had wormed each other’s ways into both hearts respectively, and it blossomed from there

Quiet nights for Izuku were a rarity. A treat. No sudden calls to action, no extra patrol, no staying late at the agency to fill out paperwork…

Warm. That’s all he felt. And also a slight weight pressing against him. That was you. Oh yeah, he was in bed, huh? The dim light of the digital clock read a quarter past midnight. He fell asleep. But he didn’t remember you being there.

But the pro-hero wasn’t startled. This had become almost routine. He’d come home, and either you’d already be waiting for him, either awake or asleep, or you’d join him in the middle of the night via sneaking in.

Wrapping his arms around you felt natural, tugging you closer until your back was pressed against his chest, listening to the quiet hum of the fan in the corner and the soft pitter-patter of rains and the gentle thunder of an isolated thunderstorm rolling through.
