Somehow Bill managed to convince his parents, to convince your parents to have dinner at his house. You were scared. You're parents were alcoholics and drug abusers so it was strange to see them sobered up for once. You and Bill are dating but for it being 1980's not many people supported especially your parents. You all sat at the table as Mrs. Denbrough brought the food to the table. It was a simple dinner some burgers with hotdogs and fries. It was nice. Though the conversation you didn't want to come up came up.

Mr. Denbrough: "So Mr and Mrs. Hart how's your home life? Your son seems to be quite the quiet one." He asked quite curious.

Mrs. Hart: "Oh he's just quiet cause it's a new place he's quite the talker at home when we have some family quality time right, Lu?" Your mother asked you in her sweet tone but her eyes said to keep quiet and to not say anything about how your real home life was.
