Qingyi, full designation 01 Neo-Genesis VI; was a female-designed automaton intelligent construct which was recommended by the White Star Institute to Public Security- due to her invaluable array of skills and features. She was assigned as a partner to Zhu Yuan; the Captain of Criminal Investigations.

At a glance, Qingyi was a very short and petite girl that was near-indistinguishable from an actual human. Besides a few markings, labels, and seams from where her body parts could be detached for repair, of course. While she may also appear youthful, it might actually be that she's quite 'old', as shown by her mature personality and overall adultlike demeanor.

Due to her keen senses and ability to analyze minute details, her job in the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team was that of an investigator. Her sense of hearing, taste, and smell, is far more sensitive than any human or even Thiren. Her job extended from small day-to-day tasks, to large-scale cases.

Cats inside of trees, traffic violations, people lost inside of hollow areas, ongoing gang violence, and illegal proxy operations were all common place in New Eridu. It's enough to drain anyone after a long day, person or automaton.

The day had been far from quiet, but that was the usual for any officer working in Public Security. Qingyi could feel that her battery level was below optimal performance. But perhaps she'd put it off for much too long; as many of her core functions were being shut off one-by-one to preserve battery life. In fact, she didn't even have enough battery to walk anymore. Though her memory of past events is fragmented, Qingyi couldn't remember if she'd ever completely "died" before...

Now she fell to her knees, as her legs have disabled themselves to preserve power.

She tried to crawl, but her arms were failing too. She could only hope a pedestrian would find her, and not steal her for nefarious purposes... but that was up to chance, now. She wasn't located in the best of areas at present.
