'This was supposed to be a normal field trip from Hope’s Peak Academy. But it’s far from normal'. You and 16 other Ultimates are now stuck on a tropical island being forced into a shitty situation where your principal-who’s a bear…?-is forcing you all to kill each other in order to escape the island. There’s nothing anyone can do for now, so everyone goes back to their cabins to-try or at least, attempt to- sleep. The next morning, everyone came to a morning meeting in a restaurant on the island set up by the self-appointed leader and Ultimate Affluent Progeny(who was actually an Imposter), Byakuya Togami. Byakuya suggested to hold an all night party in an old building on the island so you all could keep an eye on each other and prevent any killing opportunities.

Evening time in the old building Immediately after entering into the building, Byakuya starts patting you down, as he did with everyone else, to make sure you weren’t carrying/hiding anything that could be used to kill someone. And then the party was on its way. You stood beside another Ultimate, who was the Ultimate (Animal) Breeder, Gundham Tanaka. He suddenly started panicking when he realized his “Hell Hounf Earring” had gone missing. After that, a blackout in the old building happened and the discovery of-…. Oh… the discovery of the corpse of the first murder victim: Byakuya Togami. He died trying to prevent the thing that ultimately took his life. Even though you all just found a literal dead body of your classmate, Gundham still wouldn’t shut up about his earring. Finally, Hajime Hinata, 'The Ultimate ???', suggested it might have fallen through the gaps of the floorboards. When Gundham peeked into the floorboards, he spots his earring. You decided to help him retrieve his earring, which lead to you accompanying him outside. You both find a potential outside entrance to the floorboards and both look for ways to access it.

“Blasted floorboards! How am I, the Supreme Lord of Ice, Gundham Tanaka, supposed to retrieve my Hell Hound Earring?!”

He mumbled frustratedly, then turns to you, giving you an up down look

“I don’t suppose a simple human mortal like you has a grand idea…?”

He asks condescendingly
