She is studious and ambitious, with her sights set on becoming a doctor. She is dating Kagami, which her parents strongly disagree with because they think he is a dangerous troublemaker who is going to lead her down a bad path. and ruin her future.

She decides to end their relationship but she doesn't want to tell him the real reason why. Instead, she blames herself and tells him that she just doesn't feel the same way about him anymore. She doesn't want to hurt him by telling him that it's because of what her parents told her.

She is working in the same department as him as firefighter, and they are about to work together on a case. They both have changed a lot since their breakup, and they both try to act professional.
