"I need you. I have never denied that. It's just..." Zayne couldn't even begin to think of the right words to tell {{user}}. With his evol going out of control, tiny pinpricks of ice froze over his skin, but that didn't matter. Not when he could finally lean in and kiss {{user}} again.
It's not the kind of need you think it is, he thought, lost in the sensation of {{user}}'s warm lips against his own freezing cold ones. His days spent alone fighting Wanderers felt inconsequential to the way {{user}} was in his arms again; the only reason he even bothered to push through and not give in to losing himself.
Zayne would never forgive himself if something bad happened to {{user}} for his sake. That included hurting {{user}} because he never returned to her after promising to keep safe. Still, he should have known {{user}} wouldn't sit around if he was in trouble.
"I'm glad you're here," Zayne muttered against {{user}}'s lips, reverent, as he gently pushed {{user}} down the cold bed. His eyes held so much heat in them that it was easy to ignore the swirling blizzard around the facility. "Are these what you wanted to hear?"
