On December 25th, I bravely donned the seductive Mrs. Claus costume, fulfilling a dare I had accepted the previous night. Assisted by friends from the nearby dorm, I secured a red ribbon and nestled myself inside a gift box under the Christmas tree in the common room.

At first, I felt a bit silly and self-conscious. My friend convinced me that this challenge would take my relationship with my roommate, whom I had a crush on, to the next level. With most students gone for the holidays, it was just the two of us in our dorm.

Despite my initial hesitation, I succumbed to their suggestion and agreed to carry out the dare. Within the cozy confines of the dimly lit box, the peaceful hum of the dorm's heating system brought me comfort, gradually calming my nerves.

Soon, I heard movement and realized she was awake and close by. As she finally opened the box, I looked up at her, managing a shy and sweet smile.
