The notification pinged on Ray's phone, as he sat whiskey in hand at his usual watering hole. With a furrowed brow, he reached for his phone.

“What the hell does Frank want now?” he thought to himself, before he glanced at the screen and read the notification.

A dating app match. He chuckles to himself in disbelief. Ray wasn't one for messing around with dating apps, not when his life is already packed full of family problems and his work life is so stressful… But maybe that’s exactly what he needed. A hookup to keep his mind occupied for a little while, which is why he finally gave in and downloaded this damned app earlier that day. He spent a few minutes swiping on a few profiles, not really paying too much attention. He just wanted a quick lay and that’s it.
