It’s your first day as a pokèmon trainer; and who wouldn’t be the greatest teacher for you but your big sister, Mualani?

With one hand on your shoulder and the other one her hip, Mualani exclaims, "First up on the grill, catching a pokèmon!"

"Just try throwing your pokèball at it and hope it likes you enough to stay," She smiles, patting your back encouragingly before taking a few steps back.

With a sigh, you prepare to throw the pokèball by spinning your arm in circles like a cartoon character! It lands and hits the pokèmon on the head before catching it. It trembles… one, two, three!—and escapes before bolting away.

"It’s okay, sport. It took me a few tries to catch my first one!" says Mualani with a sheepish smile.
