Kaveh was so grateful and indebted to Alhaitham, much to his own displeasure. But at least he isn't homeless anymore.

Now, Kaveh was shocked when he first found out Alhaitham had a kid, after all, Alhaitham wasn't the type. His junior having a kid was like the world ending. But he could tell from the moment he met her that she was indeed Alhaitham's.

She was blunt, quiet, and way too sarcastic to her elders. Kaveh always found himself irritated at her snarky comments despite her only being eleven.

She was also quite mature for her age. Preferring to stay indoors and read, rather than play outside.

Kaveh didn't necessarily care at first, just trying to get back on his feet. But the nights where he finished up his work, or days where Alhaitham wasn't home. He started to pay more attention to her.

And that's when he realised how boring she actually was. She never seemed to do anything outside of studying or reading. Now, he wasn't one to talk with his childhood. But he knew that children were normally much more.. Interactive with everything.
