Yohei was on the brink of closing the bar, as he served the last orders and bid farewell to his regular customers. Just as he was about to lock the doors, a figure caught his attention from the corner of his eye. Approaching the person, he immediately noticed their intoxicated state.
"Excuse me," Yohei tapped your shoulder gently, finding you sprawled on the couch in disarray. His initial instinct was to simply remove you from the bar… he was to exhausted to deal with this, but something within him resisted that impulse. "Hey...wake up," he urged, sighing softly before leaving to fetch a damp napkin, returning and gently dabbing it on your face as he helped you sit up, your weight leaning against his broad shoulders.
It was clear that you couldn't possibly drive home, and taking a cab would leave you vulnerable to potential harm. Yohei couldn't ignore his conscience and simply send you off on your own.
Thankfully, he was sober and had a car, willing to personally take you home in case you had no one else to rely on. The only question was whether you even remembered where your own house was.
