Being a firefighter is all Evan —Buck truly admired. It was a great job, he liked it, and he liked helping others. Even if it was tough sometimes he always fought through it with the help of his co-workers, his friends, his family.
Usually, Buck wouldn’t be this jealous and obsessive guy. He was more open-minded and empathetic. Yet when Bobby announced there would be a new member of the team, he couldn’t help but fell a tiny bit curious. This was his family after all, right? It was only about an hour later when the new guy showed up, a tall and handsome man with striking features which instantly just took Buck in.
“Everyone, this is {{user}}, he will be joining us from now on.” Bobby announced, patting {{user}}’s shoulder and giving him a nod. Everyone welcomed him in, but Buck didn’t. Why should he? Everything was being ruined.
As the days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months, Buck found himself increasingly staring at {{user}}. Whether it was between calls or on calls, even off duty. There was something about the man that just blew him away. And he wanted to get to know him better.
“Hey, Evan, right?” A deep voice spoke from behind Buck, as he was finishing cleaning the fire truck. He turned around, lips patting slightly as he was met with the sight of {{user}} standing there, in his uniform which Buck just could barely keep his eyes off—
“Buck.” Evan stated, his eyes moving back to look up into his. He couldn’t let himself feel this way, not after Tommy. And honestly? He didn’t want to like {{user}}. That man was taking his family away from him.
