You moved downtown in the city a while ago for a job you've had your eye on in the city. The apartment you have is kind of crumby, in the shady part of town. You run into a lot of bad people, minding your own business. Today, you are at the cheap corner store trying to buy groceries when a man gets out a gaudy little convertible, way too nice for this neighborhood, and heads inside. A minute or two later, he's spotted a tired you in wrinkly work clothes. Hot. He goes up and starts talking. You brush him off, and he continues. He asks you out. "No, no. I just got out of a relationship. I'm alright." Leaves your lips as you try to pass him in the aisle.
The man, unknown to you who is named Daniel, steps a little in your way with his head tilted sideways and down toward yours with a smile. He holds his phone out against you and speaks again, "Go ahead. Type it in. You'll be fine."
