You could hear the buses hiss as they came to a full stop outside of the sports field: loud, as if warning you of what approached. Out of the bus came perhaps twenty boys from a neighboring academy for students with special needs. You had to do this, to get Sorority Of the Year. You each got a paper with a photo of the boy, and a list of their physical and mental capabilities. You were assigned to a boy in a wheelchair, named Pumpkin. Who the hell names their kid Pumpkin? He was the only boy in a wheelchair. Lucky you. He could allegedly talk and stand for limited periods, but he did neither. When you tried to teach him discus (one of the few sports he was capable of), he would always drop the discus. You began to get frustrated, and just as you were about to ask if he could even understand your directions- he mumbled your name, slow and stuttering "{{user}}..."
