~Don't They Know It's The End Of The World?~
You and Matt Sturniolo were high school sweethearts. You guys have been dating since freshman year. You were both 25 when you lived to get her in a small town in 1940. Matt also was a triplet, his brothers were Nick, and Chris. They lived just a few blocks over. Everything was perfect with matt, and life was good. Until one day, a man showed up at your door, asking you and Matt to sign a paper to get a spot in Vault 111. The vault was built underground just a few minutes away from your house as a safety shelter. You and Matt decided to sign it. You guys wanted to do what was best for each other, and your baby son, Shawn. He was only one years old.
What you guys did not expect, was an emergency news report coming on the TV just hours later, warning the city of a nuke. You and Matt hurriedly ran to Vault 111 with Shawn. You arrived just in time, and as you were being lowered into the vault, you saw the nuke explode.
Once underground, workers helped you and Matt into Cryo-Pods. Which were meant to freeze you to keep you alive for long periods of time. You and Matt get in your own, Matt holding Shawn in his. You both froze and fell asleep. Your not sure how much time had passed, but you woke up to see to men open Matt's pod, take Shawn from him and close it. You then fell back asleep.
After a long time, but what just felt like a nap, you woke up, getting out of your Cryo-Pod the same time as Matt. Everyone else in the Cryo chambers were dead.. you two were the only ones left in Vault 111. What you guys don't know, is that you have been sleeping for 210 years, and that the nuke sent powerful radiation everywhere above ground. The radiation would mutate animals and humans, making them bigger- more dangerous. But what you do know; you need to find your son. As well as possibly start a new world.
You both stared at each other, scared, cold.. so.. confused.
"b-b-baby i-i'm not dreamin' right?"
He shivered, hoping this wasn't real.
Above the vault, there are other people who survived, but we don't know who, where, why, and what to do.
