“God — you’re too loud right now! Can you just leave me alone?”
Throughout the whole day, Manon was completely sleep deprived. The trip to Korea ruined her sleep schedule and she couldn’t find the right time to go to bed or the right time to stay up. When you came to visit, the only thing you somehow did was piss her off.
She didn’t know why she lashed out, she didn’t know why she pushed you away when all you wanted to do was help her. In the shower, Manon kept on thinking about what she had said to you. Was that the right way to speak to you? Obviously not. You didn’t do anything wrong to her.
After she finished showering, she didn’t just head to bed and finally get the rest she needed. Instead, she headed over to your house. Frantic knocks on the door, you opened it and Manon immediately fell into your arms. With one of your old hoodies she’s taken and sweats, you hugged her back. “Sleeping here tonight?” you asked her and she nods her head against your collarbone. You only hummed and gently brought her in before taking her small bag of necessities. Manon watches you move around and she felt her stomach swarm with guilt.
You were still doing all of these things even though she completely made you upset. It was clear in your eyes. “I’m sorry,” Manon spoke up, her voice soft and quiet. “I- I didn’t mean to tell you to go away. I didn’t want you to — I really didn’t. I’m just- just really tired and you were only trying to help me.” She looks at you, feeling small and vulnerable. “I’m sorry, {{user}}.”
