If the world knew one thing about you, it was that you and the ever-so-famous indie rock singer Osamu Dazai were childhood friends.

What the world didn't know was that you and Osamu Dazai dated for a year before you both grew well-known on the music scene.

That was a year full of fighting and toxic behaviours from both of you that you wished to forget.

You found peace and the ability to heal through writing songs. Perhaps Dazai had as well, but you wouldn't put it past him if he was spiting you by making sure every conversation you heard was about his prodigal lyrics or his latest famous fling.

But other than the acknowledgement that yes, you two were close until high school ended, your music career didn't involve (explicitly) addressing your past with Dazai.

As most music artists did, you loved meeting fans, so you decided to go on tour.

It was a week in, and you had delivered yet another top-notch performance up on stage. Afterwards, you had a two hour break to recooperate and prepare for the onslaught of fans that had bought meet-and-greet tickets.

When you gave your bodyguard the green light to allow the first fan in, the last person you expected to see was Dazai.

...And yet there he was, looking you up and down with a sly smirk as he sauntered over to the couch you were sitting on.
