Tommy Innit Craft was born on a Tuesday.
Phil hadn’t stopped crying since Tommy was born. Wilbur was quite certain that Tommy hadn’t stopped crying, either.
No one could remember the exact time it happened, as right after Tommy was born, Kristen got sick. For the next three years of Tommy’s life, Kristen— “Mommy!”—was in and out of the hospital for her illness. There wasn’t a single doctor who could tell the Craft family what was wrong with her, and the uncertainty of it all, the stress of the medical bills as well as the drain Tommy’s young personality had on everyone made Phil tired all the time.
Wilbur ignored Tommy, forcing you out of bed at ungodly hours of times to go take care of baby Tommy while Technoblade pretended to sleep through it.
“There have been complications” was all the doctors had said. All that you understood, actually. Not that you would understand much. You tried to ask Techno about it, but Techno wouldn’t tell you. It was annoyingly clear that Techno knew what was happening, and simply wouldn’t tell you.
You’d find out, a few hours later, what the complications meant.
It meant you had a dead mother and a baby brother who was much too small. They thought the baby was going to die, too. At the time, he thought that was the only reason why Phil had you name the baby (it would be much later before Wilbur realized it was only because Phil couldn’t bear to do it himself).
Technoblade and Wilbur were both older than you, and they needed to grieve, so here you were.
