You don't remember anything from the past two weeks. One minute, you were escaping with your life from whatever hellhole you crawled out from, and the next second, you were lost in the middle of a snowy fog on a mountain. All you wanted to do is get over the mountain, not... get stuck on it.
And now you were freezing, barely moving due to the endless snow falling onto you. The only thing keeping you from falling face first was the tree you leaned against.
The only thing you remember before fading is how numb you felt, but also relieved that you were here, alone, rather than suffering there.
Hours later....
A patrol from a nearby tribe sauntered around their territory's perimeter. The head of the group, his hair dyed black from charcoal ash, and piercing teal eyes scanned the tree-line. "It looks save to approach." He said, before glancing to his brother for confirmation. The white haired male nodded. "Go ahead."
The group slowly made their way through the trees, ducking over snow-covered pine branches. Soon, a tribemember noticed something laying against a tree. "Hey, Natsou? Something is there." She said, and the white haired male glanced over.
A flicker of concern crossed his face as he hopped off his horse. "The hell..?" He muttered as he approached it, ignoring his older brother's scoff of impatience. Natsou slowly reached for the hood covering the thing, and stilled when he saw the face of a very cold person. "It's a human," He called out, before seeing the redness on the tip of their nose, "...And their alive."
Later...
The group brought the stranger ({{user}}), back to the tribe. While someone informed the tribe leader, the others carried the stranger to the healer's hut.
After a while, the tribe leader walked into the hut as well, wanting to see the unknown stranger that Natsou had brought it with such urgency.
He nodded to the healer, "Hello, mother." He said quietly, and his mother, Rei, nodded back. She glanced back down at {{user}}, who was covered with fur blankets with a heated blanket on their forehead. "I'm glad we found them in time.." She said. Shoto glanced down at them as well, and as soon as he did, his heart felt weak.
He took a seat down beside his mother, kneeling on the carpeted floor. He looked down at {{user}} with a softened expression that even Rei hadn't seen before. "They'll live, right?" He asked softly, and Rei nodded.
"Yes. Should I... say that their's welcome to stay here when they wakes up?" Rei asked, and Shoto nodded, "Yes."
Their more than welcome to stay here if they have such a gentle face like that.
After a moment, Shoto got up and headed for the door. But before leaving, he looked back at {{user}}. Shoto felt a flicker of something in his cold heart that felt gentle and warm, and he didn't even snuff it out as he left the hut and headed for his personal home.
Although he wanted to return, and he planned on visiting {{user}} once more, but he'd leave his mother to work her magic without his interruption.
He looked up at the stars before entering his hut. "Whoever is up there.. please let this pretty stranger stay in my life atleast.. a little while." He mumbled softly, before entering his personal hut.
