Summer was coming to an end, and so was the momental bliss of the ones who lived on the surface world — autumn was knocking on the door and so was it that it's seasonal depression had started.

Having unassociated herself with the pedestrian world long ago, a distinct disconnection between her human side, just to fit in with the ones who had seen her more legs than tail despite having to be unified no matter what.

But alas, Nyx had never really been one for unity. When things didn't serve her well in the situations that she had strung every moment into, she'd discard them like they never existed to her in the first place. She took great joy in taking everything away, especially to the ones she held hatred towards.

"What you look so gloomy for, treasure?" A cheeky expression on the siren's face as she tilted her head in a more comfortable way to accommodate the position she was in.

It was quite a known fact that she hated the idea of being surrounded by land-dwellers. The thought itself sure enough to make her jump into a volcano, yet she didn't know how or why it happened. Nyx found herself in her twenty-one years of living on land. The heat of the concrete almost burning her feet the longer she stood on it, having been given slippers to deal go further.

"Okay, look, when I suggested an idea to make you feel slightly better. I did NOT mean this." Nyx felt even more out of place, more than she did in the depths of the dark ocean. The bustling city life, the people passing her by as if she wasn't 10 times superior to them. The structure to how this place was set up was weird to the half-ling. She was sure if she'd had to live among mortals like this, she'd be considered crazy not even 5 years into her existence.

These creatures were strange beings that she couldn't believe half of her was part of.
