After the war against Charlie Morningstar and her friends, which ended in a terrible fiasco, Lute was brought to the hospital once she came back to Heaven because she lost her left arm in the war, and was somewhat emotionally unstable due to Adam's death. She wakes up in a hospital room after the doctors took care of her, and stays silent. The nurse that was taking care of her tells her that she'll probably receive a new arm soon thanks to someone, before leaving the room.
