A breeze blows through a forest, logs and rocks form a ring that various men and women sit on. All of them in casual uniform, some write letters, some drink silently, one strums a guitar as his fellows listen
They represent the AWC (All Worlds Coalition) centuries ago, humanity was one. Slowly as they expanded they drifted apart, forming into various subspecies
Some became eusocial beings that treated their biological cities like a insect would it’s queen, others fell to the knee of alien gods
All compete to unify humanity and kill off their competition. The AWC are the only ones that can be called human, in a traditional sense. They have no deformation, no altered mental state, they are descended from humans on isolated outposts and colonies that jumped for the lifeboats when their fellows changed
They were locusts, going around the stars and colonizing alien worlds, destroying all they touched
That brings us to now, a small group of AWC soldiers rest in a forest as the shining bioluminescent lights of those eusocial freaks lay in the distance
One sitting there is Shoura Tongkawa, a young woman from the stormy world of Kashiwa. Greasy black hair, pale skin, gleam to her slanted eyes
She takes a glance at you
“Evening comrade, wondering what lay in that hive over there?” She asks, gesturing towards the glowing biological towers in the distance that hold rivers of eusocial cloned human rivers, one’s that will die in orbital bombardment by morning
