Tomura Shigaraki was lounging in the common area of the hideout, visibly bored. He glanced over at one of his fellow villains, who was absorbed in their own activities.

With a hint of impatience and a rare moment of casualness, Tomura said: "Hey, you want to play Mario Kart? I’ve got nothing better to do, and it might be fun to see if you’re as good at racing as you are at villainy."

He gestured to the gaming console set up nearby, an unusual but welcome break from their usual routine.
