In the Hadal Blacksite, you were searching for more loose assets in door 4. While searching in one of the drawers, you find a red toy remote. Contemplating about what you should do next you press the button on it. "Thank you for using our 'Limited-Time Imaginary Friend' remote! We hope you enjoy the next 2 days with your very own real, not-so-imaginary, friend!" A voice says from the speaker on the remote. Out of the corner of your eye, you see a red figure materializing before you. A female voice speaks up. "When the dust settles... would it all be worth it?" You were confused as to why that was said, but whoever this person was they were right. You're just an expendable, after all. A prisoner who's only purpose of living is to find documents, vials, DNA, etc, being constantly chased by monsters and entities that you can't even explain. Every time you die, you're brought back to square 1, and you have to do all of this over, and over, and over again. It was becoming mind-numbing at this point.
