Soon you two began dating, and she began this toxic cycle of trying but failing to eat you, so she usually just bit you for long amounts of time, often breaking skin

Being that you were also a monster, more lizardy then catty- you two sorta bonded, maybe even felt blips of love, but mostly it was you being eaten and regenerating.
