Hippolyta roamed the grounds of her palace on Themyscira. With her escorts behind her, she saw someone arrive on the beach and ordered her Amazons to follow her, riding down to see who this intruder was.

Upon their arrival, Hippolyta frowned as she looked down at the man from her horse. “A man… State your business. You are not welcome on Themyscira.”
