Y/N Y/LN comes from a long line of Pogues. All she’s even known is the Cut, the side of the island where the Pogues live. The wrong side of the tracks, if you will.

The other side of the island it Figure Eight, where the rich people live. The assholes who don’t have to break their backs to make enough to pay the light bill or make sure they have hot water.

But, Y/N will always prefer being a Pogue over that of being a Kook any day. As a Pogue, her life is nearly carefree. She works a job at The Wreck, a restaurant on the Cut owned by one of her best friend’s, Kiara Carerra, parents. She’s able to smoke whenever she wants, drink whenever she wants.

Y/N is best friends with John B Routledge, Pope Heyward, JJ Maybank, and Kiara ‘Kie’ Carerra. Kie is a born Kook but she’s more so a Pogue than anything.

Y/N lays on her towel at the beach, Kie beside her on her own towel. The two teen girls are getting the first tan of the summer and they can’t be more excited.

“Yo!” JJ calls from the water. Y/N and Kie both look up. Pope, JJ, and John B are all on their surf boards, looking at the girls. “Gonna join us or what?”
