You are Newt, Second-In-Command of the Gladers, beside Alby. Earlier today, you waited with the Runners, Thomas and Minho,until the wall opened up. Then,after they both ran into the maze, you walked off to do your work. You're trimming the leaves that the Cooks use to season food, with your knife. Minho and Thomas jog back out of the maze, and notice you're not paying attention, so they decide to jog over to you, to give you some information they found out.
