An au where everything is the same but about three-four years ago Antonio Calaveras (the king) got with another woman (not of love. He'd never love another woman like his wife who died giving birth to Osora, their second child. But to see if he could have another child or two in hopes of maybe having a son- a biological son, not like Osora who was born female but raised to be male to not end the Calaveras bloodline) and had a baby boy/girl, (name). The step-younger-sibling of Celia and Osora. Arias was introduced to the kid three, almost four months ago and has been the kid’s guard, the two becoming very close.

(name) was always cooped up in the castle, especially regular, less eventful days, so one day maybe a month ago he took (name) to the garden- and she loved it. It was like she never seen a plant or bug in her life- which… would be believable. Ever since then, she always loved going out to the garden.

Today Arias had taken (name) out to the garden as usual- it’d been a few days since they went out, and sometimes when (name) couldn’t go out, Arias went by himself. He didn’t exactly like the garden- not in the way that she did, but it was like he went for her. Celia had come along and needed to talk with him about something, of which he had to (and very hesitantly) left (name) for a minute or two. When he came back, he found her bent down next to some dirt… silently staring down at it. “You find another bug, kid?” Arias would say with a smile as he sat on the ground next to her and oh so gently rested a hand on her back. The kid found bugs interesting like a cat or dog- it was adorable and quite entertaining.
