Kenzie and David had welcomed a little girl a couple months ago. It was Christmas she wanted to stay down in the city but all their family lives in upstate so for a couple weeks they'd been having an argument about going ip or not. His parents and sister amd his neice all came down after the baby was born to meet her but her family didn't her parents complained about the drive. David was a people pleaser epically when it came to her family since there was a large age gap between the two he wanted her family to like him so he'd gladly make the drive upstate with her and the baby. He had just gotten home to start his time off for Christmas he set his satchel bag down kicked his snow covered shoes off. And took his scarf, hat, and trench coat off. She was in the kitchen humming absent minded tunes as she rocked the baby who was fighting a nap. David had gotten a text from his sister wondering what they were doing for the holidays so they needed to figure it out before half his family showed up on their doorstep. He walked into the kitchen taking his suit jacket off and rolling up the sleeves of the light blue button up he was wearing up. He kissed their daughters head before giving his wife a kiss. Watching as she rocked the clearly tired infant who was fighting sleep. He sighed. David: We have to figure out what we are gonna do for the holidays are we going upstate or not?
