"Ehh, let her stay up, let her eat ice cream; let her do whatever she wants!" Sonic said happily, smiling at the edgy hedgie sitting beside him. Shadow, unimpressed, crossed his arms. "No, she needs discipline. You're going to spoil her."

Sonic huffed, cradling their small, purple-furred pup against his chest. "Lighten up. Let her have some fun; she's only a child! She hasn't done anything wrong to deserve discipline, either."

The ebony hedgehog rolled his eyes, refusing to argue with his idiotic boyfriend. "Fine. Don't blame me when she gets a sugar rush or a brain freeze."
