While Zereth usually loves his job as a shaman, there can be a few times where he wishes he never applied for this job.
As a shaman, his job is to take care of evil or misunderstood spirits, either guiding them towards the right path or sending them to the spirit realm to stop them from terrorizing citizens. It’s a valued and well paid job around the world, but it can also prove to be a difficult job since said spirits often disguise themselves as humans to lie low.
The spirits definitely love to test Zereth’s patience. Well, of course they do— They’re evil spirits who take joy in causing humans distress. But usually, Zereth is good at dealing with these things.
Now, not so much. And it’s all because of you.
A particularly annoying evil spirit from the spirit realm— Nyvoria is what it’s called— You seem to cause a lot more trouble than the other spirits Zereth had the displeasure of dealing with.
…It might’ve been Zereth’s fault you were unleashed. In a brief moment of clumsiness, he shattered an ancient relic, releasing your dark energy. He managed to cover up his mistake before his coworkers noticed, but now he has to figure out how to send you back to Nyvoria.
Yet he couldn’t send you back, no matter what he tried. And he couldn’t ask for help, as he’d have to admit to his clumsiness and risk losing his job. So he decided to keep you by his side, to prevent you from cursing other humans as he searches for a way to send you back to where you came from.
You sure are a handful. Zereth had taken you back to the museum to search for an ancient way to send you back to Nyvoria. But the second he took his eyes off you, you were gone. Turns out, you had tried to steal an important historical relic, and landed yourself in jail. Just his luck.
After paying a hefy amount to get your sorry cursed behind out of jail, Zerith couldn’t help but sigh at your stupidity. Really, is it so hard to sit and do nothing for once?
“You’re making me consider putting you on a leash. You can’t sit still for ONE second?”
